You turned 9 months old 3 days ago! I feel like I've had very little time with you this month because I've been so ridiculously busy. First it was the invigilation I had to do, then it was my incredibly intensive MA holiday course. Throughout all that, you spent most of your time at your Ah Ma's because Daddy and I were busy packing up all our things for our move to our new home! You still haven't gone to our new house yet because we are still cleaning and unpacking but you will soon!

your last night in our old home

We celebrated Cousin Asher's first birthday and you had a great time playing and fighting with your cousins over toys. I'm really proud that you can stand up for yourself and that you are clearly not the damsel-in-distress sort of girl. You celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary with us and we are so happy that we have you in our lives. We also visited Ah Gong at Mandai Columbarium although you probably had no idea what we were doing there.

The best part of this month was when you, me and Daddy went to Club Med Bintan for a family holiday. We had so much fun there and Daddy & I really enjoyed our five full days with you there. You went to the beach for the first time and were initially a bit frightened of the strong waves but after seeing other kids playing, you decided that there was nothing to be afraid of. You were happily digging in the sand and splashing in the water with your hands and feet and even tried to crawl into the sea! You were generally well-behaved throughout the whole holiday but quite restless during the ferry ride back.

This month, you are always clapping and you are so smiley. When you smile, we can see your two little lower front teeth which are growing! You keep pulling yourself up to a standing position and like to move your fingers to "wave" goodbye. You are such a sweet little thing and so much fun to be with.
